As I mentioned in our last visit on January 1, I’m committed to help you get God’s message through encouraging you to read and study His Word, the Bible.
I hope you have taken advantage of reviewing programs and study methods I’ve presented in these archives. I’d be happy to send you a booklet on Bible study methods offered free on this website. Be sure to include your mailing address when you request it.
Let’s commit to God and each other to make 2010 a growing, maturing adventure.
I’m recruiting a prayer team of those who will commit to praying daily for me and this outreach. I know that’s a high commitment. My desire is that those who are on this team pray more than just occasionally. If you’d like to be a prayer partner let me know and I’ll keep you informed regularly about what our prayer needs are.
Paul shared a similar request in a number of his letters. To the Ephesians he wrote in 6:19-20: “Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador…Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” And in Colossians 4:3-4, “Pray for us…that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ… Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”
I need that kind of prayer support.
