The book project I’ve been working on is in its final stages. As a thank you from me for all of your prayers regarding this project I would like to send each of you a personal copy when it is released in about a month. All I will need to do this is for you to send me your current regular mailing address.
In two weeks, I will be flying to Dallas, TX for the National Religious Broadcaster’s Convention. I will be passing out advanced reader copies of the book. Pray that God will bless those who get it and read it. This might open some doors for broader distribution.
While in Dallas I’m planning to meet with my grandson Zack’s family, the Heffner’s and Kip Gaines. I also will be keeping my eyes open for Serendipitous Encounters!
The other day I came across a Facebook post from a friend of Mur’s that I thought you’d be interested in. She had found out that Mur had died. Their friendship goes back to before Mur and I met. Both of them had transferred out of really small rural Schools into Evanston High School, a very large school rated one of the top High Schools in the country. I remember Mur telling me how she often had to run from one class to another to be on time. This friend wrote in her Facebook post: “Mur was a sweet friend who invited me to a weekly Bible Class after school when I first moved to Evanston to attend a high school larger than our town.” Both of them eventually married pastors and served the Lord all their lives.
