As we conclude the year 2010 and face the New Year, 2011, I want you to know I’m excited about what God has put on my heart to cover on this program in the New Year. I’m planning to do a study of the life of the apostle Paul and then take a journey through the book of Romans that will cover the whole year of 2011.
Paul wrote many of the New Testament books, but none is as comprehensive as the contents of the book of Romans. Paul lays out what we are to believe as Christians. Then, based on what we believe, he spells out how we are to behave as Christians.
He was confident the church in Rome was healthy and well grounded in the truth, but he wanted to be sure there were no blind spots they might have missed. He was planning on finally visiting them, something he was hindered from doing up to that time. His plan was finally realized, but not as he had hoped. He arrived as a prisoner and lived in their midst under house arrest.
There are so many gems to be mined from this study that I trust will enrich your minds and hearts as they have mine. While I am taking you through this study I plan to adapt the material into a year long daily devotional book. You’ll be able to follow the study over the radio or here on my website in both audio and written form. Tell others about it and encourage them to join us on this journey.
