I have written you quite boldly on some points, as if to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me. (Romans 15:15)
I’m sure I would be able to say what Paul did in Romans 15:14 about many of you who listen to this program, “Getting God’s Message,” on a regular basis. He wrote, “I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, complete in knowledge and competent to instruct one another.”
Yet, like Paul, I have been constrained to share with you what Paul penned in his letter to the Romans. He wrote in 15:15, “I have written you quite boldly on some points, as if to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me.”
I have tried during this year to share with you what I understand of what Paul wrote to the Roman Church. I have done this in bite sized pieces over the days, weeks and months of this year. I trust these studies have been a good reminder to you who are Christians. I also hope that some of you have taken the step of trusting in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior as you reflected on the truth about God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ. It truly is a gift to be received. And then it is a life to be lived.
