Update, November, ’17

November 9th, 2017

May God fill you and your family with Thanksgiving for Who He is and all He has done.
We had a great time the day our great granddaughter, Eliana Wilson, was dedicated to the Lord. She had a good start with four great-grandparents, four grandparents, parents and other family members together with church family, praying that God would do a great work in her heart and through her life in the days ahead (Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”). Eliana is number 32 in our family!
Did I say 32? That would be a pretty good size mini-church. We used to call a small group in our church a mini-church. Well, Mur and I feel our growing family is our primary mini-church! What a privilege to keep our eyes on our family, pray for each one and try to encourage their spiritual growth and impact. What a joy and responsibility.
In addition, Mur is having a great time team-teaching her women’s Bible class each Wednesday. She is very encouraged with the growth in the lives of those who participate. And I continue to meet with guys, young and old, sometimes in a group, but most often one on one. I’ve also been encouraged lately to hear that there are some who are being blessed and challenged by reading my books.
In addition it’s been a blessing preparing the scripts for my radio program. Currently we’re going through the Psalms. This will be followed by going through the book of Luke during December. You could follow along by clicking on the archives link on this website. On Sunday, November 26, I’ll be preaching at Christ Community Church of Willoughby, 10 AM, 36407 Ridge Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094.
Thank you so much for your faithful prayer support. We thank God every time we’re reminded of your partnership. And if you’re led to financially support our ministry, that would be much appreciated. Make checks out to Getting God’s Message, and send to 9584 Kinsman Rd., Novelty, Ohio, 44072, or click on the donation link.
