As we approach the end of year 2010 it is wise to reflect on what we have experienced this year in our walk with God. If you don’t have a walk with God or a relationship with God that would be something to consider establishing before you enter the new year.
John 1:12 declares: “To all who received him (that is, Jesus Christ), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” Jesus described this as being “born again” in John 3. “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
That is God’s gift to you. Receive it by praying to God, telling Him that you want Jesus Christ to take over control of your life, forgive your sins, and give you eternal life.
