As we come to the close of 2008 I trust you are looking forward to the challenges before you in the New Year, 2009. But before you focus on that let me encourage you to reflect on the past two years. We have been on a journey, reading and studying our way through the whole Bible in preparation for what we might face each day, in the year 2009, and beyond.
There is no better way to prepare than to expose ourselves to what God says in His Word and hide the truth in our hearts and minds. I hope those of you who have read and studied along with us during these two years have benefited from it as much as I have.
I would very much like to hear from you if you have benefited from this project. Even if you haven’t tracked along with us for the whole two years, I would like to hear from you if you have gained new insights into God’s Word as a result of our programs. If you’re a listener, who has never committed your life to Jesus Christ, let me encourage you to do so before the end of this year. Just pray, “God, I am a sinner and I invite Jesus to come into my life as my Savior and Lord. Make me the person you want me to be.” If you take that step of faith let me know.
