Update for our Prayer Support Team

February 24th, 2010

What a blessing it is to have so many praying for us.  God is answering your prayers.  Mur and I are feeling well, enjoying peace and joy, and sensing a spirit of expectancy regarding the opportunities that lie ahead.  Thank you for your support.

We had a quick trip to Chicago to stay with two of our grandkids while their parents, Greg and Judy, were on a trip.  That gave us the opportunity to enjoy all of our family that lives in the greater Chicago area, Jeff and Beth’s family, Sarah and Michael, and Drew.  They are all doing well, PTL!

So far we’ve survived ok in spite of over 5 feet of snow, with another foot promised in the next few days.  We hope the weather will not be too severe as we travel to Nashville on February 26 for the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, February 27 through March 2.  Please pray that we will be able to make some good contacts to expand our outreach in the days ahead.

Then we will travel to Atlanta to spend a few days with Debbie and Brad’s family.  While there I will be interviewed on Atlanta Live TV regarding my book, Light in the Night for Living in the Day.  I’d appreciate prayer for this engagement on March 3, 7-9 pm.

On March 5 we are scheduled to travel to Florida where we will be visiting with many friends and supporters who either are residents there or “snowbirds.”  We’re hoping to see our grandson, Drew, play with the Wheaton College baseball team in Winter Haven on the 6th.  Pray that our time will be enjoyable and enriching for all we visit and for us.  We’ll sneak in some R & R while down there as well.

Starting on the 21st we will start our trek home, via Hilton Head and North Carolina where we will spend a few days with Tammi and Bill’s family.  We will get back home in time for me to preach again at our branch church, Cornerstone Bible Church, on Palm Sunday and Easter.

Thanks again for your prayer support during these days on the road.  There will be many opportunities for ministry as well as for rest and rejuvenation.  We appreciate you very much.

God bless,  Lud and Mur
