Update from Lud and Mur, May ’21

May 28th, 2021

Can you believe it? We’re almost through the first half of 2021. It has been quite a year thus far with Covid, recovery, a new addition to our extended family, and doing some visiting with family. We just got back from watching our granddaughter, Maddie, and her lacrosse team, go all the way to the state finals in Georgia. They ended up in second place. Then, a week later, watched her graduate from High School.
In a few weeks we will be attending the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Dallas, TX. While there we hope to visit a number of missionaries. Please pray for safe travel and also for some good contacts related to the radio ministry. If, as you pray for our ministry, you feel led to help support us, you can send a check, made out to Getting God’s Message, and send it to Lud Golz, 9584 Kinsman Rd., Novelty, OH 44072, or go to our website, gettinggodsmessage.org, and click on the donation link. We are so grateful for all who pray for the ministry and for those who support it.
With all that is happening around us and the world it is important to keep our eyes, minds and faith focused on what doesn’t change. “Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). God also said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So you can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me” (Hebrews 13:5-6). No wonder the Psalmist declared, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague” (Psalm 91:1-3, New Living Translation). I’ve committed myself to memorizing Psalm 91 this summer, and would encourage you to do the same, even if only the first three verses.
We’d enjoy hearing from you so we can pray more specifically for you. We love you and thank God for you.
