Update from Lud and Mur, March 2019

March 7th, 2019

While we recently got a couple of days of warmer weather in Florida we went for a walk to the beach and sat down to rest on a bench where an older man was sitting. We greeted each other and soon were in a conversation. It went deeper when he mentioned visiting Israel, which we’ve done several times. We found out he was Jewish, who as a youth went to a Protestant church with his mother, and later was married to a Catholic. When I referred to the Messiah he said he had given up on God since He didn’t do anything to stop the holocaust. We tried carrying on the conversation, but he graciously insisted he wasn’t going to go there. So please pray for this 94 year old man, facing eternity refusing to consider God’s love for him.
In contrast, it’s always good to hear from listeners to my radio program or from those who are getting the program from this website. You can read the scripts or listen to the program from our archives, or download the programs from a new platform that automatically populates more than a dozen smart device podcast APPS (like Stitcher, Overcast, Google Podcasts, iTunes, and more).
A recent listener wrote: “Could you please send me an email script of your broadcast over BBN radio yesterday, Feb 15? It dealt with the meaning of love according to 1 Cor. 13:4-7. Thank you so much for the good work you are doing.”
Soooo, let me encourage you to pray for us as we prepare and then engage in sharing the Good News found in the Bible. Pray also that God will provide the support needed to carry on this work. We are so grateful for all of you who uphold us in prayer.
I heard that Franklyn Graham recently said he believed our nation has crossed the point of no return. I’ve felt this way for some time as well. Let me encourage you to check out one of the last messages I preached at Fellowship Bible Church almost 5 years ago on the book of Habakkuk: A Prophetic Perspective for the World Today.
