Update from Lud and Mur, Feb., ‘19

February 13th, 2019

We’re only a little over a month into 2019 and have faced some challenges and blessings. We went to Buffalo for the funeral of a long-time friend, Randy Robbins. He asked Lud to officiate the last time we saw him and his wife Viv. A few days after returning home we decided to drive to upper Minnesota to visit Mur’s sister while she was still alive. Mur had a good conversation with Judy and has peace that we did the right thing.. We drove the 1900 miles in good weather until we approached Cleveland, driving the last leg in a lake effect snow storm. Judy passed a week later. Please pray for her family and the Robbins family. And thank God for our safety enroute.
A week later we received a big blessing – our grandson Zachery and his wife Erika became the proud adoptive parents of a little girl, Adelaide Brea. That makes our family 33 now!!
In the midst of all this we continue our ministry activities and relationships. What a blessing to see lives touched by God and transformed. Please pray for God’s guidance, anointing and continuing provision.
Here are two responses from listeners to my daily radio program:
I began hearing Lud on WCRF many years ago in the wee hours of the morning when I used to deliver newspapers. What a great way to start the day! More recently I took the challenge to “Read the Word in 2 years.” I looked forward to see what Lud would reveal with each day that I was able to study along. He never ceased to deliver encouraging, practical and always refreshing insight into the study of God’s Word. May the Lord bless you with many more years to continue in the sharing of His truth which is so desperately needed today! Karen
I am able to listen to your radio program in the mornings at about 8:00 AM (CST) on BBN radio here in Omaha, Ne. I have thoroughly enjoyed the bits of insight you give on the radio before I get to work. You always have a practical and insightful perspective on the WORD OF GOD, and for that I am grateful. I am personally currently studying through Psalm 119 and was wondering if you have already covered this wonderful Psalm in your radio program. If so, I would greatly appreciate if you could direct me to the year/month on your website where I might find it and use it alongside my own studies. Myles T.
And here is a response from an 85 year old man who just weeks ago prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Savior.
Dear Lud: Thank you for reaching out to me this past Wednesday. Lunch at Corky & Lennie’s was just right. Your special nut roll wasn’t too shabby either. Thank you also for the book you wrote, I’m reading it. I truly have found my new life at Fellowship Bible opening up paths for me to travel on as I begin a new and exciting journey with our Lord Jesus Christ. Until this coming Sunday’s service, God Bless, John
